It is a sham...It really is such a coincidence, yes!

It is a shame you missed him in Paris.

You are too humble. It takes more than a good dictionary to be a good writer! I have an enormous French dictionary, but that does not make me a good writer in French. Actually, I think it confuses me more than anything as there are so many words to choose from to say the same thing!Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15809862683335434575noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4757907975744705991.post-67494060553189923142009-03-19T21:19:00.000+01:002009-03-19T21:19:00.000+01:00(ooops)Unfortunately, when he went to Paris in Nov...(ooops)
Unfortunately, when he went to Paris in November, I was not in France, and could not see him again close to my place, as you could, lucky one.

Thank you for you comment about my writing. Cohen in Lyon! What a coincidence indeed that we both were there, if you didn't know I wrote this entry.

The whole concert was wonderful. First, it was a great concert. Also, it was not disappointing, see was I mean? When you've waited for so long, and thought you would probably never see L. Cohen on stage again, it is such a fantastic news to hear he will be playing close to your place... I was afraid to be disappointed. And, of course, I was not, just the opposite, it was even more wonderful that I hoped it would be.Billyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10947186731176387775noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4757907975744705991.post-12421615242489281662009-03-19T15:06:00.000+01:002009-03-19T15:06:00.000+01:00Ah Billy, firstly, I am sorry I can't write French...Ah Billy, firstly, I am sorry I can't write French well enough to comment in French here like the other people.

This post brings back such memories. That was one of the most special nights of my life. How strange to think that we may have been on the same TGV, and maybe even passed each other in Lyon or at the concert.

You know, I am supposed to be a writer and I always wanted to write about that evening, but I could never find the words to do it justice. So now I just carry that time inside me like my little secret. It never really occurred to me that it might have been equally special to someone else.

You write really beautifully. When I read your posts I feel like I am transported to all the amazing places you visit.

Of course in this case, I was there. Now I think about it, I think it was hearing Leonard Cohen speak that little bit of French that night that made me decide to learn.

I had forgotten about the cushions at the end of the show. That was so funny. I've never seen anything like that.Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15809862683335434575noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4757907975744705991.post-57257363502437269162008-07-20T00:14:00.000+02:002008-07-20T00:14:00.000+02:00Merci de vos commentaires a tous.
